The bungalows are situated in the little urbanisation “Los Guanacastes” on 600 m above sea level near of the little town Atenas, 25 km away from the International Airport Juan Santamaria and 40 km from the capital city San José. The beautiful houses are in a quite place with a breath taking view to the surrounding mountains and the Central Valley. The garden with 3500 sq meters and its big trees attracts many birds - the right place to relax and also to get to know country and people. From here you can make tours to the main city San José, to the different national parks, the volcanos Poás, Irazú and Barva, Sarchí with its souvenir shops, the bird park in la Garita, the snake farm in Grecia and so on... To the nearest beach it takes you around 45 minutes with the car. The bus stop is 300 m away from the house. In Atenas you have many possibilities to get a bus to San José or to the beach. In the 5 km far Atenas you will find supermarkets, banks, restaurants, many little shops and a language school. |

Arrival: Coming from the airport you drive along the route nr. 1 (Panamericana) in direction to San Ramón. After 10.5 km you leave the highway turning to the street nr. 3 to Atenas (direction to Jacó). After 9.5 km (4 km before Atenas) you turn off to the left to Concepción / ECAG. Following this street 3.3 km until coming to a coral colored wall with Boungainvilleas you turn right to the urbanisation “Los Guanacastes”. 300 m more on the right you will find your destination - house nr. 7 .
